In Ukraine, more than 600,000 hectares have been sown with grain

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, as of April 6, 620.5 thousand hectares were sown with warm grain and leguminous crops by all categories of farms in the territories controlled by Ukraine, in particular:

• wheat - 126.7 thousand hectares,
• barley - 376.6 thousand hectares,
• peas - 73.1 thousand ha,
• oats - 41.3 thousand hectares,
• millet - 0.2 thousand ha.

Ternopil Oblast is the leader in sowing, where 112.1 thousand hectares were sown with grain and leguminous crops.

Agrarian farms in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi regions have started sowing sunflowers, with 21,000 hectares already sown, the largest - 5,000 hectares - in Odesa.

Agricultural farms of Vinnytsia, Volhynia, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy regions have started sowing sugar beets, with which 25,600 ha have already been sown, the largest - 17,500 ha - in Vinnytsia Region.
