- corn – 3.76 million hectares or 93% (3.8 million hectares) ,
- buckwheat – 49.7 thousand hectares or 56% (85.5 thousand hectares),
- millet – 43.9 thousand hectares or 58% (60 thousand hectares),
At the same time, late crops were sown in:
- sunflower – 4.35 million hectares or 86% of the planned (4.96 million hectares last year), with the largest area in the Dnipropetrovsk region (668.4 thousand hectares);
- soybeans – 2 million hectares or 84% (1.83 million hectares),
- sugar beets – 217.7 thousand hectares or 99% (250.1 thousand hectares), Leader of Vinnytsia Region – 50.5 thousand hectares
The following regions became the leaders in terms of sowing rates:
- Poltava region: 545.2 thousand hectares (wheat – 4.5 thousand hectares, barley – 69.1 thousand hectares, peas – 9.6 thousand hectares, oats – 3.1 thousand hectares, corn – 452.8 thousand hectares);
- Chernihiv region: 476.5 thousand hectares (wheat – 12 thousand hectares, barley – 13 thousand hectares, peas – 9.4 thousand hectares, oats – 23.5 thousand hectares, corn – 406.7 thousand hectares);
- Vinnytsia region: 393.8 thousand hectares (wheat – 11.5 thousand hectares, barley – 53 thousand hectares, peas – 7 thousand hectares, oats – 1.1 thousand hectares, corn – 309.1 thousand hectares);
- Sumy region: 385.8 thousand hectares (wheat – 21.5 thousand hectares, barley – 18.2 thousand hectares, peas – 5.8 thousand hectares, oats – 9.8 thousand hectares, corn – 326.3 thousand hectares).
- Cherkasy region: 372.6 thousand hectares (wheat – 2 thousand hectares, barley – 30.2 thousand hectares, peas – 5 thousand hectares, oats – 0.8 thousand hectares, corn – 331.1 thousand hectares).
