In January-February the Ministry of Finance brought in a budget of 60 billion UAH

Ukraine's budget Deficit in the first two months of 2019 reached 13.6 billion UAH, while during the same period in 2018, the budget surplus amounted to UAH 15.3 billion, according to the Ministry of Finance.

During January-February the Ministry of Finance placed government bonds for an amount equivalent to 60.1 billion UAH, including the currency – at 886 million dollars and 33 million euros, hryvnia – by 34.8 billion.

Revenues from small privatization constituted 154,6 million UAH.

the Expenditures of the General Fund exceeded last year figure by 20.9% and amounted to 129,5 billion, or 91.4% of the plan.

Due to the high yields of government bonds at the level of 17-19,9% depending on maturity, they buy mostly non-residents. This increased supply of currency on the interbank market and strengthened the hryvnia exchange rate from 28 to 26.3 grn/$. However, after payments on those securities to non-residents during the year will buy foreign currency for the withdrawal that will put pressure on the hryvnia.

Last week, the Ministry of Finance completed the placement of government bonds, then the dollar on the interbank market rose from of 26.36 UAH/$ on Monday to 27.02 UAH/$ on Friday.
