In the current season Ukraine exported 31.3 million tons of grain

In the 2018/19 season Ukraine has harvested a record 70 million tonnes of grain against 61.3 million tons in 2017, of which exported 31.3 million tonnes of grain, compared with 25.8 million tons of grain for the de period in the previous MG.

So, in comparison to last season, as of February 20

the

wheat exports decreased from 13.4 to 12.3 million tons.

• export of maize increased from 9 to 15.1 million tons,

the agriculture Ministry predicts that by the end of the season 2018/19 total grain exports will amount to 47 million tonnes, down from 39.4 million tonnes in 2017/18 MG.

In January Minagropolitiki reminded the traders about conditions of export of the Memorandum, since most of the agreed exports to 2018/19 Mr volume of wheat they have already implemented. Under the terms of the Memorandum, wheat export in the current season shall not exceed 16 million tons, including wheat – 8 million tonnes.

According to Gostamsluzhby, as of February 1, stocks of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine amounted to 24.4 million tonnes, 2.2 million tonnes higher than the figures of the corresponding period last year. On that date, there were 16,390 million tonnes of maize for grain, 6,149 million tons of wheat, 5,533 million tons of sunflower, 1.22 million tonnes of barley, 73,7 thousand tons of rye.

Of the reserves 13,084 million tonnes were in agricultural enterprises and 11,402 million tonnes – at the enterprises dealing with storage and processing of crops.
