In the new season Ukraine will set a new record for exports of sunflower oil

According to experts of the news Agency "APK-inform" in the 2016/17 season my Ukraine exported a record amount of sunflower oil – 5 million tons. This figure will be 0.5 million tons above the export season 2015/16, which is considered a record.

At the end of the season 2015/16 has changed the TOP-5 countries-importers of Russian oil. From the fifth to the third place in Spain has risen for the first 10 months of acquired 342,2 thousand tons of sunflower oil against 151,9 thousand tons in the same period of the previous season. In General, the EU began to actively buy Ukrainian oil. The Netherlands and Italy pressed in the TOP 5 Iran and Turkey, and took the fourth and fifth stages, whereas last year was only 7 and 8 positions.

the Leader in imports of Ukrainian sunflower oil remains India, but the volume of purchases decreased from 1.52 to 1.19 million. At the same time, the second-largest buyer - China – in 2015/16 to increase the volume of purchases from 0.45 to 0.52 million.

sunflower Prices last week rose on a background of strong demand from processors to 10300-10500 UAH/t on the basis of the CPT-plant and 10000-10200 UAH/t on the domestic elevators. An increase in supply of sales will put pressure on prices, but the main factor in their support remains high exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia. Dollar prices demand for oil remain at level of 730-750 $/t FOB Ukrainian ports.
