In the new season, Canada, the EU and Ukraine will increase rapeseed production

According to the forecast of the Ministry of agriculture Canada (AAFC), production of rapeseed in the 2017/18 season will increase to 22.8 million tons, which is 4% higher than the yield of last MG.

According to experts AAFC in 2018/19 MG sown area under soybean will increase by 2% to a record 3 million hectares, which will collect the largest in the history of the 8.1 million tons of soybeans.

the Agency Strategie Grains predicts that the EU countries will gather 2018/19 Mr 22,54 million tons of rapeseed, which is 2.5% higher than last year's figure. Soybean production compared to the previous MG will grow by 6.3% to 2.77 million tons.

the acreage under rapeseed will remain at the level last season and will be of 6.71 million hectares, whereas the yield of rapeseed will increase by 2.5% to 3.36 t/ha.

In Ukraine, the crops are in good condition, that allows to hope for a harvest at 2.4-2.5 million tons against 2.1 million tons in 2017.

From planted winter rapeseed 1 million hectares of shoots were obtained in 98.6% are in good or satisfactory condition of 890 thousand hectares (89%), weak or liquefied – 105 thousand hectares (11%).
