The USDA increased the forecast of Ukrainian sunflower crop

the Department of agriculture of the USA predicts that in the 2016/17 season, MG will be harvested in Ukraine 13 million tons of sunflower. This is 1.7 million tons, will exceed indicators of the season 2015/16 and 1.4 million tons will exceed the record results of the season 2013/14 my. In the may balance the probable yield of sunflower was estimated at 12 million.

Such expectations of USDA experts based on the report of the Ministry of agricultural industry of Ukraine about increasing of sowing areas under sunflower compared to the previous year by 15 %.

Increasing production volumes of sunflower are not afraid of processors that can process up to 18 million tons of sunflower per year. The demand for sunflower oil and meal in 2016 will remain fairly stable.
