The government approved the volumes and the price of sugar that will be supplied to the domestic market in Ukraine to 2017

a New resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers determines the maximum size of the deliveries of sugar to the Ukrainian market and establish a minimum selling price for it.

According to the adopted government resolutions regulating the production of sugar and sugar beet in the period 01.09.2017-01.09.2018 g at the state level, limiting consumption of sugar on the domestic market (quota A) is estimated 1.64 million. It is defined taking into account the projected population in the years 2017-18 and evidence-based standards of consumption of the product.

Calculations of the Ukrainian scientific-research Institute of sugar industry" and the Institute of bioenergy crops and sugar beet in NAANU allowed to adopt the minimum price of sugar beet harvest in 2017 in the amount of 633,10 UAH/ton and a minimum selling price of the produced sugar level 9172,57 UAH/t without VAT.

Recall that doing the Law "On state regulation of production and realization of sugar" every year the government determines the maximum amount of sugar (quota A) that can be supplied to the domestic market and minimum price and raw materials for manufacturing.
