The Government of Ukraine has approved the list of agricultural products, the export and import of which in 2025 will be subject to licensing and quotas

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine , by Resolution No. 1481 of December 24, 2024, extended until 2025 the licensing of exports of certain types of grain and oilseed crops to the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Poland, Romania, the Slovak Republic and Hungary.

 

Appendix 4 of the said resolution contains a list of goods whose export in 2025 will be subject to licensing, namely:

  • wheat and a mixture of wheat and rye (meslin) (UKT FEA code 1001 99 00 00);
  • corn (1005 90 00 00);
  • rape or colza seeds, whether or not broken: rape or colza seeds with low erucic acid content (1205 10 90 00 and 1205 90 00);
  • sunflower seeds, whether or not broken (1206 00 91 00 and 1206 00 99 00).

 

In addition, Annex 5 of this resolution introduces a licensing and quota regime for the export of sugar and poultry meat to EU countries. Thus, the export quota for sugar for 2025 is 107,239 thousand tons, for meat and edible by-products of poultry (chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl) - over 55,356 thousand tons, for meat and edible by-products of turkeys - 1,565 thousand tons.
