  • barley - 5.766 million tons from 1.484 million hectares or 99% of the area with a yield of 3.89 tons/ha (5.3 million tons from 1.5 million hectares with a yield of 3.45 tons/ha last year),
  • peas - 385.6 thousand tons from 154 thousand hectares or 103% of the forecast with a yield of 2.5 tons/ha (243.7 thousand tons from 106.8 thousand hectares with a yield of 2.26 tons/ha last year),
  • millet – 7.7 thousand tons from 3.2 thousand ha or 7% of the area with a yield of 2.39 tons/ha.

 

In addition, 3.985 million tons of rapeseed were harvested from 1.389 million hectares or 97% of the area with an average yield of 2.87 t/ha (3.1 million tons from 1.077 million hectares with a yield of 2.84 t/ha last year).

 

Thanks to the improvement of the operation of the Danube ports, the export of grain from Ukraine exceeds last year's pace, despite the suspension of the operation of the grain corridor. According to the State Customs Service, in 2023/24 MR as of August 25, Ukraine exported 4.032 million tons of grain and leguminous crops (3.33 million tons on this date last year), of which 1.758 (1.626) million tons in August.

 

Compared to the previous season, exports increased:

  • wheat - from 896 thousand tons to 1.694 million tons,
  • barley - from 272 to 459 thousand tons,
  • corn - decreased from 2.142 to 1.871 million tons.
