Ukrzaliznytsia has set average grain truck transportation speeds for 2025

The Board of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" has established new indicators of the average speed of cargo transportation by grain wagons of the carrier (which are used to calculate the cost of using wagons) from January 1, 2025.

This was reported by V. Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Work of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" on his Facebook page.

The updated average speed figures are:

• for domestic and import transportation
  • for wagon shipments – 105 km/day,
  • for a route train – 258 km/day,
• for export transportation via land crossings
  • for wagon shipments – 68 km/day,
  • for a route train – 235 km/day,
• for export transportation to port stations
  • for wagon shipments – 153 km/day,
  • for a route train – 248 km/day.

"The indicated average speed indicators will be used exclusively for calculating the cost of using Ukrzaliznytsia wagons," emphasized V. Tkachev.
