wheat – 16.7 million tonnes,

barley and 5.4 million tons.

  • corn – 20.4 million tons,

as a Result of low corn prices and caused poor performance of the Railways weak export demand, grain elevators have already almost filled with grain, and receipts of the new crop can block the shipment of other cultures.

According to the forecast of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation in the current season the country will gather 106 million tonnes of grain and export 30-35 mln tonnes as at 11 October grain exports compared to the same period last year increased by 23.7% to 13,647 16,885 million tons, in particular, wheat export – 36.7% to 14,426 million tons of High export prices and strong demand for Russian wheat in the near future will contribute to increasing the pace of exports.
