Ukraine harvested a record harvest of sunflower and soy

As of 21.11.16 Ukraine harvested more than 13.2 million tons of sunflower seeds and 4 million tons of soybeans.

Already processed 5,840 million hectares, which is 99% of the planned cleaning 5,919 million hectares Is 16.3% higher than last year's campaign, when at that date was handled 5.02 million ha. Gross harvest of sunflower is 13,284 million tons at a yield of 22.7 t/ha, which is a record for the country. Last year the harvest totaled 11,086 million tons and yield of 22.1 t/ha.

Soybeans collected from 1,748 million hectares, representing 95% of the planned treatment 1,838 million ha. Gross harvest composition 4,010 million tons at a yield of 22.9 t/ha, whereas last year from 2,119 million ha were collected 3,745 million tons at a yield of 17.7 C/ha.

currently they are:

• sunflower 10200-10300 UAH/t in the elevators and 10300-10700 UAH/t for the plant
• soy 10700-10800 UAH/t in the elevators and 10700-11000 UAH/t with delivery to the plant or 11050-11200 UAH/t with delivery to the port.

it is Possible that in near future prices will be adjusted due to the rising prices for soybean and sunflower oils.
