  • spring barley - 951.4 thousand hectares,
  • spring rape - 34.1 thousand hectares,
  • oats - 159.3 thousand hectares,
  • peas - 131 thousand hectares,
  • buckwheat - 75.3 thousand hectares,
  • millet - 49.5 thousand hectares,
  • corn - 4.639 million hectares,
  • sunflower - 4.702 million hectares,
  • soybeans - 1.213 million hectares,
  • sugar beets - 180.6 thousand hectares.

 

It is worth noting the changes in the structure of sown areas for the 2022 harvest. Thus, compared to last year, the area under corn decreased from 5.5 to 4.639 million hectares, under sunflower - to 4.702 million hectares, which is quite high, while under soybeans and spring wheat remained at last year's level.

 

According to the State Customs Service, in 2021/22 MY as of June 17, Ukraine exported 47.794 million tons of cereals and legumes (including 695 thousand tons in June), namely:

  • wheat - 18.646 million tons (in June - 48 thousand tons),
  • barley - 5.737 million tons (in June - 21 thousand tons),
  • corn - 22.94 million tons (in June - 623 thousand tons),
  • rye - 161.5 thousand tons (not shipped in June).
