In January, Ukraine reduced exports of agricultural products by 24% due to the delay in the inspection of courts by representatives of the Russian Federation

In January, compared to December, Ukraine reduced the export of agricultural products by 1.3 million tons to 5.5 million tons, in particular, corn - by 700 thousand tons to 2.6 million tons, wheat - by 250 thousand tons to 1.3 million tons, sunflower oil - by 121,000 tons to 347,000 tons. The reason for the decrease in exports was the artificial blocking by Russian inspectors of the grain corridor, which shipped only 3 million tons of products in January.

In addition to the three main export crops listed, the shipment of other products also decreased in January compared to December:

• soybeans - from 387 to 345 thousand tons,
• meal - from 331 to 295 thousand tons,
• sunflower seeds - from 312 to 190 thousand tons,
• barley - from 179 to 168.7 thousand tons,
• rapeseed - from 237 to 186 thousand tons (412 thousand tons in November), since the season of this crop is over.

At the same time, the export of soybean oil increased from 20,000 tons in December to 26,000 tons in January.

The share of commodity positions in the January export of agricultural products from Ukraine is as follows:

• corn - 47.36%,
• wheat – 24.23%,
• sunflower oil - 6.33%,
• soy - 6.29%,
• meal – 5.38%,
• sunflower seeds - 3.46%,
• rapeseed - 3.39%,
• barley - 3.08%,
• soybean oil - 0.49%.
