Ukraine reduced agricultural exports by 8.6% to 5.2 million tons in May

At the end of the marketing year, agricultural exports from Ukraine usually decline, and the current season is no exception, although the country still has significant volumes of products intended for export, primarily grain crops.
In May, exports of goods decreased compared to April:
- grain crops – by 12% to 3.6 million tons (of which 65% is corn, 34% is wheat, 1% is barley),
- vegetable oils – by 8% to 463.4 thousand tons (sunflower 85%, soybean 9%, rapeseed 6%),
- cake after oil extraction – by 17% to 417.2 thousand tons (sunflower 67%, soybean 33%),
- other types of agricultural products – by 4% to 412.8 thousand tons.
At the same time, in May, oilseed exports increased by 65% to 323.9 thousand tons (of which soybeans 60%, rapeseed 38%, sunflower 1%).
