In December, Ukraine accelerated the export of agricultural products, albeit slightly

In the first 18 days of December, Ukraine exported 3.6 million tons of agricultural products, which is 800,000 tons more than the corresponding figure in November.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the first position in exports is still occupied by corn, 1.6 million tons of which were shipped, or twice as much as during November 1-15. The volume of wheat shipments amounted to 815 thousand tons, which corresponds to the level of the previous month. The third place in terms of export volumes is traditionally occupied by sunflower oil, which shipped 303,000 tons, which is 4,000 tons less than in the first half of November.

For the third month in a row, soybean exports are increasing. If in the first half of October it was shipped 118 thousand tons, then in the same period in November - 199 thousand tons, and in December - 238 thousand tons. The export of sunflower for 18 days of December amounted to 230 thousand tons, and rapeseed - 194 thousand tons, which is 44,000 tons and 11,000 tons higher than the figure on November 15, respectively.

During the specified period, the export volume of meal decreased by 27 thousand tons to 146 thousand tons, and barley - by 68.1 thousand tons to 97.9 thousand tons. At the same time, the export of soybean oil amounted to 9.9 thousand tons, which corresponds to the pace of November.

The share of cargo in the total volume of products exported from Ukraine for the 18 days of December is as follows:

• corn - 43.3%,
• wheat - 22.71%,
• sunflower oil – 8.44%,
• soy - 6.63%,
• rapeseed - 6.48%,
• sunflower seeds - 6.41%,
• meal – 4.07%,
• barley - 2.73%,
• soybean oil - 0.28%.

The specified volumes of agricultural products were transported abroad as follows:

• by sea and river ports - 2.5 million tons,
• by rail - 706.6 thousand tons,
• by motor vehicle - 357.9 thousand tons,
• by ferry - 25 thousand tons

In total, for 9.5 months, while the full-scale war continues, Ukraine exported 35.8 million tons of agricultural products, including 13.9 million tons of corn and 7.8 million tons of wheat.
