The main buyer of domestic wheat in December was Turkey, where 197.4 thousand tons were shipped, corn – China, where 1.5 million tons were shipped, or 34.6% of the total volume of corn exported from Ukraine in December. Most of the barley was shipped to Turkey, namely 115.6 thousand tons, which is 47.5% of the total volume of barley exported from Ukraine in December.

 

In general, in my 2021/22, the largest volumes of grain crops were exported to the port of Nikolaev (10.2 million tons), the second place is occupied by the port of Chernomorsk (9.1 million tons), the third – by the Port of Yuzhny (6.1 million tons).

 

Experts expect an increase in the supply of corn in January – March and wheat in March – April, when the forecasts of the new wheat harvest will become known. While the remaining barley producers will start selling after sowing spring barley, when the volume of sowing areas is determined.
