Ukraine exported over 0.5 million tons of sugar in the 2025/26 MY

According to the National Sugar Association "Ukrsugar", during September-May of the 2025/26 season, Ukraine exported 504 thousand tons of sugar.

Almost 21% of this volume was delivered to Lebanon, 18% to the EU, 14% to Syria and 12% to Uzbekistan.

In the first 9 months of the current season, Middle Eastern countries purchased 50% of the total volume of sugar exported from Ukraine, making the region the main sales market for domestic producers.
