Ukraine produced 6.126 million tons of vegetable oils in 2020/21

According to preliminary estimates of Ukroliyaprom experts, during September-August of the 2020/21 season, Ukraine produced a total of 6.126 million tons of vegetable oils, including 5.8 million tons of sunflower, 0.21 million tons of soy and 0.116 million tons of rapeseed.

During the specified period, exports of vegetable oils reached 5.613 million tons, including sunflower – 5.277 million tons worth 5 5.713 billion, soy – 233 thousand tons, rapeseed – 103 thousand tons.

The main buyers of domestic sunflower oil in my 2020/21 remained India (which acquired 29.7% of the total shipped volume), the EU countries (28.4%) and China (20.1%).
