Ukraine in 2017 from an exporter became an importer of cheese
for the 2017 Ukraine exported to 9.05 million tonnes of cheese, while imported 10 thousand tons, - said the SFS of Ukraine.
For comparison, in 2016, the exports of cheese amounted to 8 thousand tons, in 2015 – 10.8 thousand tons, in 2014 – 19,4 thousand tons.
Imports of cheese in relation to 2016 increased by 42% to 10 thousand tonnes, and in monetary terms by 58% to 47,13 $million.
the export of cheeses in comparison with the year 2016 increased by 12% to 9.05 million tonnes, and in monetary terms by 34% to 32,51 $million.
the Export of butter increased by 2.5% to 30.44 million tonnes, and in monetary terms by 3.5 times-up to 129,86 $million.
the import of butter compared to 2016 has decreased from 1.08 THD. MT to 751 MT, but in monetary terms it increased from 3.8 to 4.5 million dollars.
Exports of whey in 2017 increased by 34% to 31.94 tonnes, and in monetary terms, is 1.7 times of 24.83 to $million.
Exports of condensed milk Ukraine decreased by 9.6% to 46,83 thousand tons, but in monetary terms the income from exports increased by 9% to 80.6 million dollars.
