Ukraine is catching up with last year's rate of exports, while Russia beats its own record
For 2017/18, my Ukraine exported 35 million tonnes of grain, which is 7.9% lower than in the corresponding period last season, according to Directoryslash.
In comparison with the same period in 2016/17 MG in the current season:
the
export of barley decreased by 27.5% to 4 mln t,
corn exports fell by 13.3% to 15 million tons.
- wheat export decreased by 6.7% to 15.4 mln t (in particular, the food – 16.7% YF 7 million tons),
the export of oilseeds from the beginning of the 2017/18 MG in comparison with the same period of the previous MG increased from 3.7 to 4.6 million tons, in particular rapeseed – from 1 to 2.1 million tonnes, while soybean exports fell from 2.7 to 2.5 million tons.
During July-March 2017/18 MG flour export of Ukrainian production increased in comparison with the same period last MG with 295,8 thousand tons to thousand tons 354,73
According to the FMS, in 2017/18 MG as of 2-may Russia increased grain exports in comparison with the corresponding period of last year by 43% 30,894 to 44.2 million tons.
in Particular, in comparison with the same period last MG exports increased:
the
barley 1.9% to 4.9 million t,
corn – 9% to 4.6 million tons,
other cultures by 44% to 293 thousand tons.
