In the current season, the following was exported:

  • wheat - 14.541 million tons (13.335 million tons in 2022/23 MR),
  • barley - 2.117 (2.309) million tons,
  • rye - 1 (17.7) thousand tons,
  • corn - 20.133 (22.858) million tons,
  • flour - 82.1 (120.1) thousand tons, of which wheat - 77.7 (115.5) thousand tons.

 

Also, in April, 15,000 tons of sunflower oil were exported by truck. At the same time, the volume of export road transport decreased in April. Thus, for April 1-8, the volume of agricultural products exported by trucks across the western borders decreased by 20% compared to March, from 121 to 97 thousand tons, which is 40% less than in February - 158 thousand tons.

 

The largest amount of agricultural products was transported across the border with Romania (32,000 tons) and Moldova (26,000 tons), the least – across the border with Slovakia (7,000 tons) and Poland (9,000 tons), although the average daily rate of passage through all checkpoints is 12,000 tons. At the same time, mainly sunflower oil (15 thousand tons) and sugar (14 thousand tons) were exported by motor vehicles.

 

Market rates for road transport to Europe in April decreased by an average of €10-15/t depending on the direction, while prices for transport to ports remained almost unchanged.
