Ukraine is increasing grain exports thanks to the active operation of Black Sea ports

After August 8, when the new export corridor secured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces became operational, more than 100 ships with 3.3 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural and metallurgical products left the Black Sea ports of Ukraine.

According to the State Customs Service, in the 2023/24 MR as of November 15, 10.968 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were exported, in particular in November - 1.728 million tons, which is 42% less than the corresponding figure last year. Last year, as of November 16, 15.566 million tons of grain were shipped, in particular, in November - 2.363 million tons.

The export of main crops in 2023/24 MR decreased compared to the previous season:

• wheat - from 5.97 to 5.225 million tons (in particular, 594 thousand tons in November),
• barley - from 1.28 million tons to 749 (67) thousand tons,
• rye - from 11.2 to 0.9 (0) thousand tons,
• corn - from 8.25 to 4.865 (1.061) million tons.

Also, in 2023/24 MR (as of November 15), 46,000 tons of flour were exported (46,200 tons last year), of which 3,100 tons in November, including 44,200 tons of wheat, of which in November - 2.8 thousand tons
