Ukraine is increasing exports of agricultural products and shipped 5.4 million tons in July

In July, Ukraine increased its export of agricultural products by 1.5% compared to the previous month to 5.4 million tons.
Thus, compared to June, exports have changed:
- grain crops - decreased by 5% to 3.7 million tons, of which 42% - corn, 42% - wheat, 16% - barley,
- of oil crops - grew 2.4 times to 514 thousand tons, of which 54% - rapeseed, 44% - soybeans, 1% - sunflower,
- vegetable oils - remained unchanged at 479.5 thousand tons, of which 92% - sunflower oil, 6% - soybean oil and 2% - rapeseed oil,
- cakes after oil extraction - decreased by 20% to 372.6 thousand tons, of which 83% - sunflower and 17% - soybean,
- other types of agricultural products - increased by 28% to 358.7 thousand tons.
For the second month in a row, the volume of exports remains quite low, as stocks are already sold out and the harvest is not yet complete, with only barley and canola fully harvested so far.
The best dynamics was demonstrated by the export of oil crops, which in July grew by 2.4 times compared to June due to active shipments of rapeseed, the harvest of which is being completed. For the same reason, the volume of exports of wheat and barley increased.
It can be expected that in August, as the harvesting campaign progresses, the export volume of the grain group will also increase, and the rate of export of oilseeds will remain at a high level.
