Ukraine exported twice more agricultural products, comparing with steel

According to customs data, for the period from January to March 2019 external trade, the volume of exported products amounted 25,937 billion. This was 8% more than same period of last year (24,091 billion dollars).

According to DFS, the volume of Ukraine's exports for the first quarter increased by 7% and amounts to 12,272 billion, and imports by 8% (13,666 billion dollars). The negative balance amounts to 1,394 billion.

the largest group of exports are food and agricultural products – 5,344 billion dollars, as a percentage of total exports was 43.5%. Next are the products of metallurgical complex – 2,786 billion us dollars or 22.7%.

the More the country imports equipment, transport, machines for the amount of 4,396 billion (or 32.2% of total imports). Next come the products of the chemical industry – 2,830 billion (20.7 per cent).

According to the State statistics service, in 2018, the negative balance was 5826,1 million dollars, it is 2.3 times more than in 2017 (2501,1 million dollars).

According to NBU data, in March of current year has deteriorated by world market exporters from Ukraine. This happened due to the reduction of grain prices, the correction value of iron ore after a rapid price increase in previous months.
