Ukraine is actively working on the organization of exports through Romanian ports and supplies to the EU

Ukraine continues to suffer from Russia's military aggression, thousands of people are dying, cities are being destroyed. More than 4 million people have fled the country to escape modern-day fascists who have come to plunder and kill.

Russia is destroying Ukraine's economy, destroying 40% of metallurgical plants, and blocking ports that used to supply 95% of exports.

In these circumstances, Ukraine is looking for opportunities to reorient exports through the Romanian port of Constanta. Therefore, on March 30, the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine M. Solsky held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Romania I. Scriostianu on the organization of rail and transit freight to the Romanian port.

The European Commission is ready to create special trade routes between Poland and Ukraine in order to transport food products in both directions as soon as possible, - said EU Commissioner for Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski. He said Ukraine was asking the EU to secure trade flows for agri-food products by creating so-called "green corridors", as its own food exports from Black Sea ports had been blocked by the Russian occupiers.

The European Commissioner compared the new plan to the one developed in the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic, when the European Union abolished certain inspections of goods.
