Favorable weather persists in the USA and Canada, while the Black Sea region suffers from a lack of precipitation

The U.S. Corn Belt continues to have good corn and soybean planting weather with occasional rain and normal temperatures. Winter wheat is almost harvested. Dry weather next week will speed up the harvesting of spring wheat, and the weekend cyclone will bring favorable rains for crops.

Ahead of the August USDA report, experts are raising soybean and corn yield estimates thanks to favorable weather conditions.

On the Canadian Prairies, after July's heat and drought, this week's cyclone brought rain and cool weather that will ease stress on canola, spring wheat, soybeans and corn crops. Freezing is possible in some areas of Saskatchewan. Next week, temperatures will rise and rain will pass, which will help spring wheat and canola.

A front with showers passed from the west to the east of Europe . The most precipitation fell in the northwestern regions, which suffered from excess moisture. The delay in harvesting in France and Germany reduces the harvest (in France it will be the smallest since 1983), so experts reduce the forecasts for the production of wheat, corn and sunflower in the EU. Temperatures will rise in Europe next week and rain intensity will decrease, but in the south this will add stress to maize and sunflower crops.

A cyclone from Europe brought rain to the Black Sea region, but the southeast of Ukraine and the southwest of the Russian Federation will not receive enough moisture. Soybean, sunflower and corn crops continue to dry up, so crop forecasts are down.

Rains have passed in the west and in the center of Ukraine , which will allow the sowing of winter rapeseed to begin.

The front brought patchy rain and cold weather to Argentina this week. Winter wheat crops need more moisture, but lower temperatures will reduce stress on the plants. The corn crop is almost harvested, increasing supply on the world market.

Much of Australia will see rain this week and next week, which will favor winter wheat, barley and canola crops.
