In January 2026, the rental price of most types of rolling stock of Ukrzaliznytsia will increase

In January 2026, the cost of using most types of rolling stock of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia will increase, however, grain wagons will cost, as in December, 1,250 UAH per day excluding VAT, reports RAIL.insider.

So, in January 2026, the cost of use (excluding VAT) will increase compared to the previous month:

• gondola cars — from 1350 to 1450 UAH/day,
• round-trip trucks – from 603 to 703 UAH/day,
• cement trucks - up to 1300 UAH/day,
• tanks for transporting food products – from 738 to 938 UAH/day,
• tanks for transporting liquefied gas – from 203 to 603 UAH/day,
• mineral trucks – from 203 to 450 UAH/day.

Fitting platforms will also become more expensive, in particular:

• 40-foot - from 750 to 900 UAH/day (excluding VAT),
• 60-foot - from 850 to 900 UAH/day,
• 80-foot - from 1250 to 1450 UAH/day.

The cost of grain wagons and piggyback platforms will remain unchanged at 1,250 UAH/day and 203 UAH/day, respectively. However, the price of timber platforms will decrease by 200 UAH to 1,360 UAH/day excluding VAT.
