In August, Ukraine doubled grain shipments to ports

According to APK-Inform, in August, Ukrainian seaports exported 6.3 million tons of basic grain crops, which is 1.9 times higher than in July, when 3.3 million tons of grain were exported.

So, in August, the volume of wheat exports increased by 3.5 times compared to July to 4.2 million tons, barley – by 1.4 times to 1.8 million tons, while corn exports decreased by 2.4 times to 0.38 million tons.

In August, the main buyer of Ukrainian wheat remained Indonesia (which purchased 782.8 thousand tons), corn – Egypt (purchased 57.4 thousand tons), barley – China (purchased 752.8 thousand tons or 42.5% of the total August barley exports).

The leader in transshipment of major grain crops in the period July – August 2021/22 MG was the port of Nikolaev, which processed 3.1 million tons. the second place is occupied by the port of Chernomorsk (2.3 million tons), the third – by the Port of Yuzhny (1.8 million tons).
