On Friday the dollar on the interbank market continued to grow

against the backdrop of increased demand for the currency from importers and speculators on Friday the dollar on the interbank market increased from 27 to 27.14 UAH/$, although usually on this day, the market is not quite active.

Restricted the growth rate of the national Bank to support the hryvnia at auction sold $ 50 million at a price 27,0851 UAH/$, although the banks gave orders for the amount 75 million $. Via pent-up demand immediately after the close of the auction the dollar began to rise again and by 15:00 was 27,11/27,14 UAH/$.

As of 12:00 reference rate of the national Bank was 27,0883 UAH/$, the official exchange rate on 6 August, the regulator set at 27,092701 UAH/$.

Cash dollar due to the panic and following the interbank sharply increased to 27,4-27,5 UAH/$. If the national Bank from Monday to be able to stabilize the market and provide a rate in the range of 27-27,2 UAH/ USD, then the cash dollar will also return to the specified level.
