In April, egg exports from Ukraine reached the second highest level in the last 5 years

According to the Union of Poultry Farmers of Ukraine, in April Ukraine exported 205.7 million eggs worth $22.6 million, which was the second highest monthly figure in the last five years after March 2026.

 

Compared to April 2025, the volume of egg exports increased by almost 40%, although it was 4.8% less than in March 2026. In monetary terms, exports in April exceeded the figure in April 2025 by 60%.

 

In the first 4 months of this year, Ukraine exported 785.2 million eggs for a total amount of $88.6 million, which exceeds the corresponding figure of last year by 22% in physical volume and by 72% in monetary terms.

 

During the indicated period, the main buyers of Ukrainian eggs were: EU countries (with a share in exports of 74%), in particular Spain - 27.4%, Great Britain - 14.2%, Poland - 10.6%, Israel - 7.7%.

 

In March 2026, Ukraine exported a record volume of eggs over the past 5 years – 216.2 million pieces worth $24 million.
