India continued to increase imports of palm and sunflower oil in June, but the pace of deliveries is lower than last year

In June, compared to the previous month, India increased imports of palm oil from 763 to 786 thousand tons and sunflower oil from 410 to 465 thousand tons, while soybean imports decreased from 324 to 275 thousand tons.

At the same time, the total volume of palm oil imported in 2023/24 MR (from November to June) decreased compared to the previous season by 4.4% to 5.76 million tons, sunflower oil – by 33% to 2.46 million tons, and soybean oil - by 25% to 1.86 million tons, - reports the brokerage company Atria Brokers.
