In 2024, over 320 thousand hectares of agricultural land were alienated in Ukraine under purchase and sale agreements

Since January 1, 2024, after the lifting of the moratorium on the purchase of agricultural land by legal entities (provided that they are founded exclusively by citizens of Ukraine), 106,669 thousand land plots with a total area of over 320.7 thousand hectares were alienated under purchase and sale agreements, and the average cost of a hectare of such land was UAH 46.7 thousand, - reports the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre.

Compared to the previous year, in 2024, the sale of agricultural land plots subject to the moratorium increased by 2.6 times.

In total, during 2024, information about 651 thousand land plots, 514 boundaries of administrative-territorial units, 71 boundaries of territorial communities, 447 restrictions on land use, 114 functional zones, and for the first time, an array of agricultural lands was entered into the State Land Cadastre.
