In 2023/24, Ukraine exported a record amount of rapeseed oil

In 2023/24 MR, the export of rapeseed oil from Ukraine reached a record 422,000 tons, reports the Ukroliyaprom association.

Ukraine supplies rapeseed oil to the markets of the EU, China, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries. At the same time, the export of rapeseed meal is increasing.

We will remind that the position of the association is the need to create conditions for increasing the processing of soybeans and rape within the country and the export of products with high added value, such as oil and meal.

"Further development of the oil and fat industry of Ukraine will consist not so much in increasing the processing of sunflower, but in increasing the processing of soybeans and rapeseed, which were previously considered export crops," reports Ukroliyaprom.
