Tunisia held a successful tender for the purchase of corn
According to market operators, the Tunisian State Grain Agency (ODC) purchased 27,000 tons of feed corn of any origin from Ameropa at an international tender on April 22 at a price of $267.09/ton C&F.
If the grain is to be supplied from the Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, or the Black Sea region, it must be delivered to the buyer between May 15-30, from Western European countries between May 10-25, and from the USA, Brazil, or Argentina between May 5-20.
Recall that in the previous tender on April 17, where ODC planned to purchase 25 thousand tons of feed corn for delivery in May, no consignment was contracted. The best price ($256.99/ton C&F) was offered by Ameropa, but the offer was rejected because it did not meet the terms of the tender.
