Tunisia purchased soft and durum wheat at a tender at a higher price than in January

The Tunisian Grain Agency (ODC) on Friday, March 6, purchased 100,000 tons of soft wheat and 50,000 tons of durum wheat of any origin at a tender, Reuters reports.
Soft wheat was purchased with delivery from April 1 to May 20 in the following batches:
- 25 thousand tons from Buildcom at a price of $271.69/ton C&F (including freight),
- 25 thousand tons at Cereal Crops – $274.68/ton C&F,
- 25 thousand tons at Cofco – $272.01/ton C&F,
- 25 thousand tons from Finagrit – $274.57/ton C&F.
Durum wheat was purchased from Casillo with delivery from April 1 to April 30 in two batches:
- 25 thousand tons at a price of $334.49/ton C&F (including freight),
- 25 thousand tons - at a price of $334.67/ton C&F.
Recall that at the tender on January 28, Tunisia purchased 4 batches of soft wheat, 25 thousand tons each, from Finagrit at a price of $256.6/ton C&F (including freight) and 4 batches of durum wheat, 25 thousand tons each, from Amber trading house at a price of $323.89/ton C&F.
