Tunisia purchased 25,000 tons of feed barley at a tender

The Tunisian Grain Agency (ODC) purchased 25,000 tons of feed barley of any origin from Ameropa at a tender on April 24 at a price of $265.45/ton C&F, Reuters reports.

According to the terms of the tender, this volume must be delivered in one batch from May 25 to June 5 in the case of delivery from the Mediterranean, Black Sea or Eastern Europe countries, May 20-30 from Western Europe countries, May 15-25 from the USA, Brazil or Argentina.

The indicated purchase price is equivalent to the price for Ukrainian barley of $220-222/t CPT - Black Sea ports, which has remained unchanged for a long time, so you should not expect significant price changes until the new harvest.
