Grain export rates from Ukraine are 25% lower than last year

According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, in the 2026/27 MY (as of September 18), Ukraine exported 4.555 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, in particular in September - 822 thousand tons, while in the 2025/26 MY (as of September 19), 5.701 million tons of grain were exported, of which in September - 1.573 million tons.

 

By crop, the following were exported in the current season:

• wheat – 2.267 million tons (in September – 582 thousand tons),
• corn – 1.823 million tons (203 thousand tons),
• barley – 402 thousand tons (34 thousand tons),
• rye – 0.2 thousand tons (0).

 

In addition, since the beginning of the season, 7.2 thousand tons of flour have been exported (in September - 2.3 thousand tons), including wheat - 6.7 (2.1) thousand tons.
