Prices for soybeans are reduced, and sunflower are strengthened

Ukraine has harvested more than 60% of the area of soybeans and 70% of the area of sunflower. The gross fee will not exceed projected, so traders have stepped up purchases. Sunflower prices increased by 100-200 hryvnia per ton and are 10000-10200 UAH/t with delivery to the plant and 9500-9700 UAH/t on the elevators.

An increase in export demand for sunflower in connection with a reduction of the harvest in Romania and Bulgaria. Experts predict that the export of sunflower seeds can increase up to 500 thousand tons in comparison with 83 thousand tons in 2015/16. The price of sunflower in the port is 10100-10200грн.

The price of soybeans on Chicago stock exchange has remained stable at $355, but in Ukraine the prices have started to decline to $355-360 or 10800-11000 UAH/t with delivery to the port. Refiners have reduced the price of soybeans to 10500-10800 UAH. per ton and internal elevators prices fell to 10500-10600 UAH per ton.

Prices for rapeseed on the MATIF remained stable at €375. The price of rapeseed in Ukraine has not changed and is within $410-414 tone or 12200-12350 UAH/t with delivery to the port.
