Soybean and sunflower prices in Kazakhstan have decreased, while other oilseeds have increased slightly

According to the Grains and Oilseeds. Kazakhstan Bureau, prices for soybeans and sunflowers decreased in the country during the week, while other oilseeds increased slightly in price.
Thus, prices for sunflower decreased by 10 thousand tenge/t or $18/t to 164 thousand tenge/t or $310/t, and for soybeans - by 7 thousand tenge/t to 186 thousand tenge/t or $352/t. The bureau's experts advise farmers to sell soybeans as soon as possible, as prices for them will continue to fall.
At the same time, safflower rose in price by 4 thousand tenge/t to 94 thousand tenge/t or $178/t, and flax – by 1 thousand tenge/t to 203 thousand tenge/t or $384/t.
At the same time, prices for rapeseed (at 209 thousand tenge/t or $393/t) and mustard (215 thousand tenge/t or $407/t) remained unchanged.
In November and early December, prices for sunflower and flax were steadily increasing, and processors reported a shortage of sunflower, the prices of which had increased, according to their data, by 30% since the beginning of the season.
According to the bureau, export demand prices for unrefined sunflower oil have fallen to $980-1,000/t at the border with China, which is putting pressure on sunflower prices.
