Prices for rapeseed of the new harvest is gradually increasing

due to the sharp depreciation of the us dollar against the Euro in the Ukrainian ports today there is growth of demand prices for rapeseed of the new harvest.

Cool weather and the strengthening of the Euro led to higher prices for rapeseed in the EU. May futures rose to EUR 399.5 opening/t or 435 $/t, the August – to 369,75 Euro/ton or of 402.6 $/t

Supports the price of rapeseed stable market of palm oil. Despite the information Statcan, the expected increase in acreage under Canalou in Canada from last year's 20.4 million acres to 22.4 million acres.

As of April 24, prices in the demand for rape seed harvest in 2017 in the ports of Ukraine increased relative to previous week by an average of 10 $/t and are for shipments in the July-August 385-390 $/t on CPT basis.

Snow and cold, which was observed in Ukraine last week, not hurt the canola crops, therefore, the forecast of oilseeds production in 2017/18 MG remains at the level of 1.5-1.6 million tons.
