The price of wheat in the United States and Europe accelerate the fall
For Thursday, the main factor that influenced the course of trading on the market for U.S. wheat remained successful harvesting of the winter crops, and good crops of spring grain. After a short pause Chicago resumed its fall, and quotes wheat lost of 23.97 $/tone from a maximum value of 8 June.
Improved weather conditions continues to put pressure on the markets of soybeans and corn, which, in turn, affect global wheat markets.
the July wheat prices in the U.S. fell:
- the 1.65 $/tonne to 166,91 $/ton in Chicago soft wheat SRW,
- the 1.93 $/ton to of 157.17 $/ton in Kansas city for hard wheat HRW,
- the 1.38 $/tonne to 191,62 $/tonne in Minneapolis on hard spring wheat HRS.
the Market for French wheat on Thursday accelerated the fall. Influence on this was the auction in Chicago, and the strengthening of the Euro in conjunction with the concerns of market players regarding the poor quality of new crop wheat.
In Paris at the MATIF milling wheat price for transactions in September decreased by € 2.50/tonne to 159.00 Euro/tone or 180,64 $/ton.
