Chicken prices in Ukraine have increased significantly during the year

According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the average consumer price for chicken carcasses in November of this year decreased by 0.4% compared to October, from 91.67 to 91.27 UAH/kg, which is 13.4% higher than the price in November 2022 - UAH 80.49/kg.

At the same time, the average consumer price for chicken fillet in November decreased by 0.2% compared to October, from UAH 159.95 to UAH 159.61/kg, which is 17.6% higher than the November 2022 price of UAH 135.72/kg.

The data provided by the State Statistics Service do not take into account the territories temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and those where hostilities are or were being conducted.

It is worth noting that the prices of fodder grain in 2023 decreased significantly due to the blocking of exports in the first half of the 2023/24 season, but as exports resume, they will begin to rise, which will lead to further increases in the price of meat.
