The price of sunflower oil stable, and sunflower gradually going up

in 2016 the Ukrainian refiners have increased exports of sunflower oil to a record 4.8 million tonnes, which is 23% higher than the 2015.

In the season 2016/17 MG farmers have collected the largest in the history of the country's harvest of sunflower seeds – of 13.6 million.

This allowed domestic processors in December 2016 to develop a record of 560 thousand tons of sunflower oil, which is 50% higher than December 2015.

the Export price of sunflower oil is in the range of 760-775 $/ton or 21,5-22,5 thousand UAH/ton.

On the Ukrainian market in the beginning of the week have formed a trend of increase of prices for sunflower seeds due to high demand for oilseeds and the growth of the dollar relative to the hryvnia.

the Price of sunflower increased to 10800-11300 UAH/t with delivery to the plant, and traders offer in the ports for the seeds to export from 11000 UAH/t. The elevators, the price rose to 10500-10800 UAH/ton.

In the market of soybean oil has also seen a price increase of demand caused by the devaluation of the hryvnia increased demand against a small number of proposals.

As of 17 January, the price of demand for soybean oil in Ukraine are in the range 21200-21800 UAH/t on EXW basis, although a week ago they were 20800-21500 UAH/ton.
