Barley price at tender in Jordan slightly decreased in a week

According to European traders, Jordan's state grain purchaser MIT purchased 60,000 tons of barley from Souflett in an international tender on December 17, where it planned to contract 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin, for delivery in the first half of 2026 at a price of $270/ton C&F (including freight).

The tender included proposals from the following operators:

• Cargill $272.5/t C&F,
• Dreyfus $283/t C&F,
• Bunge $271.99/t C&F,
• Olam $274.79/t C&F.

Recall that on December 10, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan purchased 120 thousand tons of feed barley of any origin at a tender at a price of $272.75/ton C&F.
