The U.S. raised the import duty on Chinese goods

the decree of the President of the United States an increase from 105 to 25% import duties on Chinese goods worth 200 billion $ came into effect on may 10.

President, trump announced this decision on may 5 and explained his very slow progress the next round of trade negotiations between the US and China, which took place may 9-10.

In turn, the Ministry of Commerce of China said that "the Chinese government is very disappointed with such step by the U.S. administration and will be forced to take appropriate countermeasures" that will negatively affect the future relationship of the parties.
