Russia increased its shelling during the talks, although it promised to stop them

Yesterday, Russian troops increased their shelling and began attacking residential areas as well. At the same time, they are pulling up new columns of equipment from Belarus and the temporarily occupied Crimea. In a conversation with Zelensky, Lukashenka promised that during the talks, planes and missiles would not fly from the Belarusian side, but Ukraine was shelled with Iskander missiles from the territory of Belarus.

The first negotiations between Ukraine and Russia held in Belarus did not provide any solutions to stop the war. And the Russian military increased its shelling during the negotiations, as a result of which many civilians were injured.

The introduction of sanctions will lead to the collapse of the Russian economy, which will actually open up a second front in the fight against Russia and the Kremlin authorities. Trading did not start on Russian stock exchanges on Monday, but shares of Russian companies collapsed on world stock exchanges, the cash dollar exchange rate rose from 85 to 150-190 rubles/руб. Russians are hastily withdrawing their bank savings and stocking up on food. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation introduced a mandatory sale of 80% of foreign currency earnings, but after the dollar exchange rate on the interbank market reached 107 rubles/., trading was postponed to March 2.

Fighting in the south of Ukraine has stopped the operation of ports of the Black and Azov seas and export supplies. However, Odessa and Nikolaev, where the main deep-water ports are located, have strong protection and will defend themselves.

More and more countries refuse to cooperate with Russia, so the demand for Black Sea grain is now almost nonexistent. Prices for cereals and oilseeds rose again amid Russia's unwillingness to stop the offensive under pressure from the international community and the Ukrainian army, as well as the risks of the conflict escalating into a long-term one. However, the situation is changing rapidly , so Russian citizens will soon realize that their soldiers are dying because of the crazy ideas of one sick person, which, against the background of the collapse of the economy, will increase dissatisfaction with the authorities. We hope that Russian soldiers will refuse to be invaders in a foreign country and deploy weapons against those who sent them to kill civilians of an independent state.
