Russia attacked the Olein oil extraction plant in the Dnipro

As a result of the Russian attack on September 10, the Oleyna oil extraction plant in Dnipro was damaged, according to the press service of Bunge, which owns the enterprise and has been operating in Ukraine since 2002.

 

There were no injuries among the plant's employees, but the company has suspended operations. "We will continue to monitor the situation and assess its further development," Bunge said.

 

The State Emergency Service and the OVA reported that on September 10, the Russian Federation launched a double strike on the Dnieper River, resulting in two deaths, five injuries, including a child, and a fire at a food enterprise.

 

According to Suspilny, at around 09:08 the enterprise was attacked by a barrage of Banderol ammunition.

 

At the same time, the mayor of Dnipro, B. Filatov, stated that "there is no need to hide the name of the enterprise, because everyone saw exactly where the parcels hit - the Olein plant, which belongs to the American corporation Bunge and is located right in the city center. An enterprise that has already been attacked repeatedly."

 

Recall that in the spring in Chornomorsk, the plant of another large American company ADM was damaged and still has not started operating, as well as the plant of the Allseeds company.

 

The enemy continues to destroy Ukraine's economy, so oilseed processing, an important part of the economy, is now under great threat.
