the Russian Federation attacked the port in Odesa with ballistic missiles and again hit a civilian vessel

In the evening of October 7, the Russian Federation attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles and hit the civilian ship "OPTIMA" flying the flag of Palau, as a result of which one person died and several others were injured. This was announced by the head of Odesa OVA O. Kiper in his Telegram channel.
He said that a 60-year-old Ukrainian, an employee of a private cargo handling company, was killed as a result of shelling of the Odesa port infrastructure and hitting a civilian ship, and five foreign citizens - crew members - were injured. Four of them are in moderate condition, one is in mild condition, and all of them are currently receiving medical attention.
The vessel "OPTIMA" entered the port for loading on the afternoon of October 7, and almost immediately became a target for Russian terrorists who are trying to disrupt the work of the Ukrainian Grain Corridor.
This is the second attack on a civilian ship in the ports of Odesa in the last few days. On the night of October 6, the ship "PARESA" under the flag of St. Kitts and Nevis, loaded with 6 thousand tons of corn for export, was damaged near the pier in the "Southern" port. Then none of the 15 crew members, citizens of Syria and Egypt, were injured.
Terrorists from the Russian Federation continue to attack Ukrainian infrastructure, in particular ports involved in guaranteeing food security in Europe and other parts of the world, and law enforcement agencies are recording the consequences of yet another crime.
